United's first game in December earned them a point after a competitive encounter at Morecambe after a November to forget. Oxford were by some distance the best side in the first half, creating some decent chances and forcing Shrimper's keeper Roche into a few saves. The second half was more even and became an end to end encounter for a spell. It was a good team performance from The U's and they'll be pleased to come away with a point after the game ended goalless. Anthony Tonkin made his return to the side, as did Tom Craddock and both players played an important part. There was a late cameo for Adam Chapman, also making his return to the side after a long time away.
