United made it 6 games unbeaten with a supremely dominant performance at the Recreation Ground. The U's took the lead early on when Peter Leven's volleyed cross was headed underneath Aldershot keeper Ross Worner by Jon-Paul Pittman for his second goal in two games. Leven then had a hand in the second goal when his corner ricocheted off Michael Duberry and into the bottom right hand corner. The Scot then capped his influential display with a goal of his own when he found some space on the edge of the penalty area and slotted home into the bottom left hand corner. The home side came out fighting in the second half, but Oxford stood firm and took control of the game and kept a clean sheet to add the icing to the cake.

Final Score: Aldershot Town 0 - 3 OXFORD UNITED
